The Fort Macon Sail and Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadron a civic non-profit organization of approximately 45,000 men and women organized into approximately 450 squadrons across the United States, some territories and Japan. Power Squadrons enjoy and promote safe boating for both sail and power boats.
The primary objective of USPS is to provide community service, continuing boating education and enjoying social activities, both boating and non-boating, with other squadron members.
